Today was the summer event for Power, and like last year they chartered a rafting company to take everyone (about 275 people) down the Payette River. We took the kids to the childcare that they have on site and Kyle, Becky, and I loaded up into a boat with another couple and our guide and we were off. We did an 8 mile stretch between Banks and Cascade. We were able to get out and swim for a bit, I lost my sunglasses the first time Kyle pulled me out of the boat, then Kyle lost his the next time we got out. :) On our boat we had 2 water guns and a bucket, we got in a few water fights with some of the other boats. It was a lot of fun. At the take out point there is a little beach for the kids and a rope swing. This pictures and video I am posting were taken at that beach. The kids loved the beach. I promised them that we could go again. Keep an eye out for those pictures.
