I have started my seeds for our garden!! I went to Home Depot to buy potting soil. While I was there I talked to someone about starting my seeds indoors. Last year I would carry all my pots outside during the day, let my little seeds and sprouts soak up the sun and then bring them back in. I really don't have any real good sun
coming in my house, so this was my best option. I asked about grow lights. I settled on a $7 clamp flood lamp and a $7 120 watt plant bulb. The kids and I had fun filling our little pots with soil and poking holes for our little seeds. Until my seeds start to grow, it's going to look like I'm growing pot in the kitchen. Oh well, I know I'm legal. These are the seeds the kids and I have started:
White Pumpkin

Zucchini

Yellow Crookneck Squash

Butternut Squash

Acorn Squash

Casaba Melon
Cantaloupe
Watermelon

Cayenne Peppers

Bell Peppers

Grape Tomatoes

Beefsteak Tomato

Walla Walla Sweet Onions

Cucumbers

Broccoli

Sugar Snap Peas

Corn

When the weather finally warms up the stuff I'm going to plant directly into the garden will be:
Radishs

Garlic

Carrots
