Block Party

We went to another block party on Saturday. This one was much, much larger. There was a band, slip-n-slide, bounce house, beer, tons and tons of food, later they did an outdoor movie. We were there from 4pm-11pm. At 11 we were dragging CJ and Brian out of the bounce house! They would have slept in there if we would let them!

That blinding light on the slip-n-slide is Brian. He figured out how the slip-n-slide worked by mistake. Before he was just playing in the little puddles of water on the slide. CJ left for the bounce house, Brian wanted her to stay with him, he got up to chase after her, and he slipped. He laughed his little pants off. I showed him if he starts running on the grass then jumps on his belly he will slide super far. He loved it! He was on that slip-n-slide for about an hour! Sorry the picture is so crummy, I should have moved to the other side of the slide.


Brian is showing off his sweet skateboard skills. He loved having a new audience to amaze. He loved that everyone kept saying, "How old are you?" and "Wow, you're good!" He even snookered an older boy into showing him some new tricks.


He's riding back and forth in front of the band, just to make sure he gets maximum exposure!

Now know this, taking pictures with your cell phone in a bounce house is very difficult. I don't want to hear complaints about the poor picture quality! BTW, you should try to brave the bounce house with sugar doped up children under the age of 6.It was like Lord Of The Flies in there!
