Passed out in the car after a very long day

We went to Silverwood yesterday with my MIL Jan, Tanya, Quinton, and Bailey. We had so much fun! First thing we did was go over to Boulder Beach. That is the Northwest's largest water park. It was so much fun! I loved the kiddie pool! I didn't need all those other big slides, I was totally happy there! We floated the lazy river, well the kids floated, I swam. Then we visited the wave pool. We changed into dry clothes and off we went to the rides! We had to take the train, because Brian loooooooves trains. Brian and CJ were impressed with the buffalo and tee pees They were not at all worried about the train robbers. I don't know if that's because Mom wasn't worried or if they are just super brave kids. We all rode the little train roller coaster, the paratrooper ride, the sizzler, kids rode the airplanes and the little kiddie ferris wheel. Jan distracted Brian for a bit so I could take CJ (42" tall) on Tremors. She waited patiently in line until she saw the sign with the cartoon drawing of the guy with a severed head. She got worried about that. I told her that the say just said, don't stand up or you'll lose your head, we're going to stay seated so we don't need to worry about it. Then when we were putting on our seat belts she got a little worried. I just pointed to all the people in line and said that only the best rides have lines this long. On the climb up the big hill she asked me to hold her, I did, and pointed out how beautiful the view was. Then as we started to reach the top I told her, "When I tell you, you close your eyes and don't open them until you feel ready". She held her little eyes shut the whole time! She never let out a scream at all. When the ride was over she was not crying! She was walking a bit like a drunk. I asked her if she liked the ride, she said yes, I asked her if she wanted to do it again, she said, No. While we were doing that Jan and Brian rode the kiddie coaster about 25 times! Every time he said, "that's fun, I'm going to do that again!" We went on a few more rides and our day was over, it was 9, already. I was sad, kids were super tired. They were asleep before we even got back into town. The last time I went to Silverwood was 10 years ago. I'm not waiting another 10 years, but we do need to wait until Brian is at least 42" tall. I hated going on Tremors without Brian. He wanted to go on the big rides so badly. I felt guilty for sneaking off without him. I hope by next summer he'll reach that 42" mark.

So very brave of CJ to ride Tremors. I love that ride. I miss going to Silverwood. Maybe we will have time next summer while I am home to go.
The kids are so cute and brave.
Love you
