CJ and Brian had a lemonade stand today to raise money to spend at the fair. They were very successful. They worked together in the morning for an hour and half and sold 4 quarts of lemonade. They complained of being hungry. We broke for lunch. Brian and CJ took a nap. CJ woke up first and asked if she could keep selling. I made the last 4 quarts of juice and went out. By this time it was much hotter, and we saw a lot more people on bikes going by! She sold out in half an hour. The last glass went for $5!!!! When the guy pulled up on his motorcycle I commented that he was going to be our last customer for the day because we were out of lemonade. He pulled a $5 bill out of his pocket. I told CJ to start counting his change, he said, "No, if it's the last glass, she can have the 5". I was totally shocked! CJ and I cleaned up and counted their earnings. Out of 8 quarts and 2 hours of work they made $30. Brian got $7 to spend, CJ got $10 (she worked a little harder) and the rest they are splitting and it's going into their savings accounts. After my Mom got home from work we all went to the fair. Wow, what an adventure. Look for more about that later.

Good for them. Such good work with great rewards. They are so cute. It was very good of that man to give CJ a $5.
CJ looks like she is looking for just one more customer, you know the one with $5.00 a glass one.
