Sweet Weekend

We had a very easy, relaxing, and fun weekend. Saturday morning we went to the Capital City Farmers Market. The kids played in the fountain for a few minutes and got balloon animals. Then we had lunch at Pollo Rey. mmmmm, chips and salsa. I love Pollo Rey, but I always come out feeling fat and bloated. Oh well.
Saturday night we went to a BBQ at Andrew and Shay's house. That was a late night, we didn't leave until about midnight. CJ fell asleep on the way home, Brian talked alllllll the way home. We all had tons of fun. There were other kids there, so the kids were in heaven. CJ and Brian always love it when they get to play with older kids.
Sunday Kyle let me sleep in. I slept until noon. It was awesome. After I got up we went to the park. Kyle practiced his fly casting, I read the paper and the kids did what kids do best at parks. Sunday evening we went to our neighbors, Anna and Jason, for dinner. They have 3 kids, the 2 youngest are CJ and Brian's age. They had fun chasing chickens and having a tea party. Brian was all boy. They had flooded the backyard earlier that day, so Brian was enjoying the running and splashing in the water and mud. Before dinner was reading he was wet and muddy from head to toe.
Today is Monday. Back to the regular schedule. 42 days until school starts.
