First Day At Tee Ball

Swing!

Setting up her ball

Coach Jeff helping her with the bat

Is it me, or does she look more like she's golfing than playing tee ball?

CJ's first tee ball practice was pretty good. Up until it got windy. See the little track jacket CJ is wearing, well, that's all she had. Then the wind started. She was shivering, teeth chattering, cold. CJ was on 3rd base, then the last 10 minutes she gave up. She took off her glove, threw it down, put her hands in her pocket and REFUSED to move. I felt so bad that I didn't bring enough clothes for her. Brian even let CJ have his fleece. Brian went to the car to play with toys, took it off and had me deliver it to her. How sweet is that? Any, CJ's first game is Saturday, check back for more pictures.

I bought CJ her first glove this morning while she was at school. I gave it to her after school she is so excited for her first tee ball practice tomorrow. So look for pictures Wednesday!

Post Hunt

So I had trouble uploading the egg hunt. I think the video was too large for blogger. This is video from after the hunt.

Swimming

We spent the weekend in Fallon, NV. The kids loved the hotel! They swam Friday night after we got there, Saturday morning, afternoon and after dinner. These are pictures of their after dinner swim. This was their fourth swim in 24 hours, I was all pooled out, so Kyle was the only one swimming with them. That gave me the chance to take a few pictures!

The pool was cold, not cool, cold.

Brian would not look at me for this picture, what you don't see is that to the right of the frame is two girls sitting in the hot tub. Brian was busy flirting.

CJ just motored around that pool like nobody's business!

Kyle is trying to talk Brian into jumping in, Brian didn't want to get into the cold water.

Brian swimming for the ladder so that he can go get into the hot tub with the girls!

Yummy

Last night after dinner we went to Dairy Queen for dessert. In the freezer already made were these cute little mini sundaes with green stained coconut "grass" and jelly beans on top! How cute is that? Of course that's what CJ and Brian wanted. The food coloring that they used for the coconut grass what a messy concoction. Brian had green hands, he had green behind his ears, he had green on his legs, he had green everywhere. He looked like he was turning into the Hulk. CJ kept in centralized on her lips with a little on her hands. Anyway, she was too cute. I had to get a picture. Sorry the image is so crummy, I had to use the camera on Kyle's phone.

It's in the Y Chromosome!

There are things that I attribute to being part of a boy's DNA. I blame the Y chromosome. These are things that girls can learn, but boys just do naturally. Such as picking up a car and saying "vvvvvvrrooooom" before they can even speak, forcing themselves to burp, laughing at the words bum, butt, and boob, and the latest... poking and playing with worms. None of these things were at all exciting to CJ until Brian started to do it.
It's raining today. Brian became totally fascinated with the worms. He started to poke them, just to watch them wiggle. Then Brian decided to pick them up and taunt CJ. So I had to explain to Brian that worms don't like to tease. Worms like dirt. So then Brian wanted to rescue every single worm. If it was on the sidewalk, Brian was rescuing it.
